Delaware County PRIDE Team Visits Burris

October 25, 2019

The Delaware County PRIDE team held a convocation at Burris yesterday as part of Red Ribbon Week. High school students from around Delaware County taught our elementary school students about the dangers of drug abuse and how to make the right decisions. The PRIDE team used skits, sing-alongs, exercises, and even handed out autographed trading cards to help teach their message. Everyone there, from the students to the teachers, had a fun time and were sad to see them leave to continue their tour around the other schools in the county.

Burris has three students that are part of the PRIDE team: sophomores Adam Combs and Gerry Moore, and senior Autumn Gable.
