School Safety

  • Burris Laboratory School is committed to creating an environment for students that is safe, secure and promotes learning.

    How to Report Safety Concerns

Students and parents can report safety concerns to school authorities directly or anonymously.

    Anonymously

    Use Silent Witness

Silent Witness is a web-based program through Ball State University Police that allows individuals to anonymously report information about criminal activity on campus.

    Drop a Note

Drop a note at the main office for one of the school administrators.

    Non-anonymous

Any staff member is willing to hear concerns from you personally and share them with school administrators on your behalf.

    Registered Sex Offender Policy

No registered sex offender (RSO), as defined by Indiana statute, may come on any Burris property except as otherwise provided in the school’s Registered Sex Offender Policy and as permissible by State and Federal Law.
